Nicky Barot and his band played a super awesome gig at The Roxy in Hollywood, California July 16th.  I was there to capture the action, and was blown away at their musical talents!

The last time I was at The Rox was back in the early 90′s, so revisiting “The Strip” was also a personal treat.  Mella and I hit Sunset Boulevard for a few blocks to take in the local atmosphere and scope out the culture.  We wound up having a few slices of “pie” at Frankie & Johnnie’s Pizzaria just a block away from The Roxy.

In addition to Nicky’s band, several others played sets to open the event.  It was an awesome night of great music playing loud and beating strong!
