Manufacturer Spotlight

When I was ass-deep in my own business someone once told me that “a company can only be as epic as the people that work it.”  There is an immense truth to this as meeting Andy and the crew of Whiteline Suspension during the Aussie trip really made me believe in the saying.

It was a bit strange, at first, that a company as foremost as Whiteline staffs friendly people.  Then I remembered… I was in Australia!  Second strange thing that hit me, the warehouse is staffed of 98% females.  Third thing, why isn’t this name as big as it should be?!

From the warehouse to front offices, the tech room to fabrication room, everything about this company was absolutely top-notch.  I could really feel the pride in everyone I met; there was no grumbling about where to eat for lunch, or needing a raise.  It was all business, from the gal who was bagging hardware parts to the bloke bagging an order of sway bars to be shipped.

We were treated to test drives in two of their in-house test vehicles, and just a mere 10 minutes from their facility is one of the best “proving grounds”; a sparsely used mountain road draped with lush green foliage and stout rock-faced bends.  The vehicles were amazing in that they truly proved their worth in suspension upgrades alone, one with mild engine modifications and the other without.  The Whiteline product truly proves the point that ability to maintain corner speed can be worth more than sheer power and torque.

After a quick photo session, test drives, and car-to-car video sessions, we were hot to find a place to grub.  That Hungry Jack breaky was starting to lose its strength…
