As one storm approaches the southland today, another one is on his way to Australia to attack the Association of Surfing Professionals for the first time in his professional career as a WCT contender.

Brett Simpson was thrown a huge congratulatory sendoff party at Aaron Pai’s Huntington Surf & Sport at Main Street & PCH in Simpo’s home town of Huntington Beach.  Local surfers, pro’s, dignitaries, groms, and even Huntington Beach High School’s cheer squad were on hand to grab some swag, watch the “Go Brett” Hurley vid, and send him off to OZ with warm HB aloha.
