Another exciting day at Willow Springs Raceway, but not without some incredible drama. Regular racer Lisa Fisher took a bad spill entering T9, and it looked grim from my perspective. The track was red flagged for quite some time, and Mercy Air was dispatched after initial paramedics hit the scene. I am SUPER STOKED to report that she has been in recovery mode, and a full status report can be found on the Ducatitech forum here. All my best wishes for a super speedy recovery, Lisa!
I should note that she rides in the 250 Ninja class, and reports show that her practice lap time was in the one minute, forty-one second neighborhood. Its was stated that the month prior to her injury, she was turning one minute, fifty second lap times. The corner speeds on these 250 is insane, and has become one of my favorite classes to watch in addition to the 600′s.
