We all wondered where the typical “epic winter swell” went in 2008.  Waves got good, but it wasn’t GOOD good.  This session came to us by surprise, really.  I don’t think any of us were expecting conditions to be hollow and peaky… and we weren’t gonna bitch about it, either!  Needless to say, surf team members were tardy on this morning.
